Colin got me fixed up. When I sign in, it creates the QR code and it times out. Took us two or three tries to get it. But I think I am now fully assimilated by China...
Thanks Colin. I guess this process would be pretty hard for a non human. They make you solve an elementary jig saw puzzle before you get the QR code. Then some other wechat user has to scan the QR code to complete the authentication.
