I am trying to get X mission to fix it. 2mS, just pinged them, and they say we have too much latency... Been working with them since the late 1990s but their responsiveness to troubles has always been bad. Down for most of a week now...
Once they get it fixed then we can discuss better pricing or we will probably be moving. Or perhaps they don’t care and it wont get fixed. Moved our whole operation to a new backbone with my own C blocks of IP. Sip provider says my asterisk office system is not working because of high latency. 40mS. Cogent. Xmission in Salt Lake City. They have always been a pain to work with anyhow. We have a ubiquity phone on the way to try out. But I like asterisk and aastra phones. Any suggestions? Ready to port if the price is right...
