I'm aware of that, but the recent downturn in ships waiting is
more about the lack of ships in transit than the offshore rules.
Those rules started quite a while ago.

The newer numbers of ships waiting off of LA is miss leading, They changed the rules last year to have them wait like 200 miles off shore. Since they are no longer near LA the port will not count those ships as waiting.

--The supply chain issue is fascinating. Six months ago, ships were lined up 128-deep attempting to get into the port of Los Angeles. Yesterday's report is that the line is only 28 ships deep now, but that is almost 28 more than was typical before the pandemic. The decrease in ships from China's COVID lockdown has done more to reduce the backlog than anything we've done at this end.

If someone says 6 month lead times they are lying to you. No problems other than distributors not buying enough stock to match demand. No idea about the credit card issue, but you will pay less with a distributor. Web store is really just an online catalog.

What's the scoop on the 800-cat6 model surge cards? I can't pay on your website for the last 5 in stock and all major distributors are out with up to 6 month lead times. Everything okay or are you suffering the same woes as the rest of the world?--
