You sure you're not just the "mark"?  The world according to google the owner of the phone is a temporary delusion.  They control everything about your phone and Zuckerburg knows everything else about you including your psychological profile. They control, zuckerburg knows, you and everybody else is just along for the ride.  Confused? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4PjWgiH-LQ

The radio is on if your WiFi interface is up (in most if not all

I realize it is such a small amount of data but
that is a pretty sneaky way of getting a free ride.

The phones will pickup the Bluetooth beacon and
relay the phone’s gps to the tracking service.

Basically a GPS by proxy on behalf of the tracking
                    token.

It relies on random folks wandering by and the
Bluetooth token snagging enough “air time” to
                    report home.

Being lazy and not wanting to do the research.

How do the air tags work.  In other words, how do
they get connectivity to the world.  Most of the
stuff I have read talks about blue tooth but that
                    isnt worth anything over distance.

I rent out some construction equipment and I am
thinking of putting them on the equipment.  But I
                    need a better understanding.
