We are working on upgrading one of our transport lines. The distance between us and them is about 25km. Carrier is telling me only 10km optics are available om their end. I know there are 40km and even 80km optics available, but the pricing does jump quite a bit.
I'm calling them out on the 40km optics and waiting on a response. But want to have some type of backup plan if they refuse to budge. What repeaters are available out there. Not sure if I'm using correct term when searching.
