You know that's happened with virtually every group that's come over on the boat. It happened to the Quakers, it happened to the Poles, it happened to the Italians, it happened with the Irish (and on and on). When your group first starts coming over, they are seen as invaders or somehow less than. At some point, they start blending in. A little of them becomes part of us, and a lot of us becomes part of them. It's been happening for over 200 years, and somehow we keep forgetting what has happened.
