$5 router, $10 mesh. I don’t get a really high take rate, so you could argue I’m charging too much. On the other hand my customers are really really cheap, for a couple years I offered a cheapo router for $2 and that didn’t change things much. Unless it’s free, they figure if they buy their own, they will eventually come out ahead. Occasionally I find someone still using a WRT54G.
