I think cable news has made us all stupid, we need the chyrons to explain it at an 8th grade level and tell us what to think.
Seems like what he is saying is that we see ourselves in a mirror from the perspective of our side of the mirror, so basically from behind us. If our head was transparent, we would be seeing our face from the back, and our right eye would be on the right, whereas when someone looks at us from the front our right eye is actually on their left. Maybe that’s the real puzzle – when I look at you, why is your right eye on the left? OMG, the mirror isn’t backwards, real life is backwards!
