What about the idea of creating some sort of inflatable bladder to insert in the conduit like they have to for those plumbing pipe things they use to help blow out drains. Something that doesn’t let the water/air out unless you open the pressure relief valve. The only solution is to hopefully get some air to pass and then keep flushing it out with water. Sometimes you have to let the water soak for 2-3 days between blow out cycles. This has been a problem for me in 4-6” duct. Normally 1.25” and smaller it is mostly water. I think I shoved the crevice tool into the conduit alongside the cables and then taped over it with 2” electrical tape to mostly seal it. This was only about 25 feet of conduit though, and it was water not mud. It was like a geyser at the other end though. It has an air port coming in from the side. And I use a 375 CFM 150 psi compressor. I am guessing you could slip a copper tube down the duct and tape the crap out of everything with black vinyl tape. Just use as much air as you can get. Trying to locate a 1" poly with a non-toneable fiber installed in it. No trace wire installed. Conduit is full of Mud, and at the bottom of a handhole that is also filled with Mud. Conduit goes from handhole under a parking lot, so digging to find it isn't an option either. We were not involved in the installation of this conduit, but it is now our problem. We got a flat steel fish tape pushed in just far enough to finish the current locate request, but it's not going any farther. At some point in the future I'm probably going to get a locate request further down the conduit path.
