I am thinking vertical. Had not considered switched.

Vertical zero U or horizontal 1U? Dumb or switched?

I am fond of Tripp-Lite RS-1215-RA for dumb 1U at tower sites. I believe
there is also a 20A version. If you’re going to plug wall warts into it, you
have to consider the various models and right angle outlets or not and the
spacing between the outlets.

For smart, switched, with built-in ATS, CyberPower makes some. They are
ruggedly built, but I had one go stupid on me, it might just need a factory
reset but I don’t trust it now.

There is only one output on the inverter, so one circuit. Mostly spread out on
two racks.

I can get some plug mold or long outlet strips. Just wondering of there is
something better for rack mount applications.

It depends on how much load per rack. Will you have 100w per rack for 40
racks, or 1 rack with 3990w of load, and 10 racks with 1w. Each rack on it's
own circuit, or just daisy chained together?

While I try so hard to be 100% 48 VDC, there are always a few devices that I
have to power with AC.

I have 4000 watts of modular sine wave Exeltechs that have utility power fail
over. So I don’t know of a better solution.

However now I need to spread out that 4000 watts over several racks in the
off chance that something may need it in the future.

Anyone have outlet strip solutions they really like for racks?
