It was always kind of amusing when the kids would get hurt and we would take
them to the ER where the wife was the supervisor. The hospital, to their
credit, still followed the procedure of separating us all and asking what
happened. “We smacked him in the head, dressed him up in his football
uniform, shoved him around the grass and mud until he was a dirtball, and then
brought him here”. Or maybe it was the kids only reception for a touchdown in
his high school career. He got creamed coming down and landed on his head.
Kind of sucks he can’t remember it.
