I believe this was asked of the OET years ago and they agreed with you. From: Matt Hoppes Sent: Sunday, July 5, 2020 7:59 AM To: af@af.afmug.com Subject: [AFMUG] Part 15
Was looking over the Part 15 rules. What is it that would cause a subscriber unit in a PtMP system to not be considered PtP when returning to the tower? “ However, fixed point-to-point U-NII devices operating in this band may employ transmitting antennas with directional gain greater than 6 dBi without any corresponding reduction in transmitter conducted power.” A subscriber unit, unless it’s some kind of relay, is a PtP device. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- AF mailing list AF@af.afmug.com http://af.afmug.com/mailman/listinfo/af_af.afmug.com
