Well, you know what Newton Minow said about television.

Heart damage is virtually nil They confirmed it at the prison here today. Gotta love a governor that spend his time complaining about the federal level and ignored his state responsibilities, like hey, maybe we dont ship symptomatic inmates from prison to prison during a pandemic. Half the idoc COs have damaged livers, kidneys and heart's between the rampant cocaine use and steroid abuse. That wont end well with afscme. The sister in law works at a nursing home, 3 of the patients were in direct personal contact with 3 of the new cases, so they gave staff masks to wear when they're not at work, so as not to infect the public. Morons are running the show everywhere, this didnt have to become a thing. All because the tv told people they needed toilet paper.... At least the home for developmentally disabled that my sister lives in locked their doors. Nobody in or out. If we take my sister out for any reason, she cant come back. I'm glad adults are running that show. On Thu, Apr 9, 2020, 7:27 PM Bill Prince <part15...@gmail.com <mailto:part15...@gmail.com> > wrote: Yeah. You can try some of that chloroquine the COW is so fond of. We are a bandaid station. We have a prison with known infections, and 800 guards in the community. Our jail houses Cook County overflow for revenue. We are a resting location for interstate drug mules. Im expecting we are about to have a sneezandpoop here soon. Stuff like this is why I dont understand why they consider new york cresting to be a national flattening of the curve. Podunk illinois is just starting to see it, and we are bedroom to bigger towns. Its just a matter of time til we typhoid mary those cities because "we live in the country, it wont get us" Ive had serious talks with the boss about just going and getting exposed at one of the home quarantined positives around here, sit in my camper for a couple weeks, drink hot soup and water, live on a nebulizer and hope i dont croak out. If I were in my 20s I would have done this already. Better to schedule a flu than have it smack you in the face mid build and take out the whole staff or worse, not know and bring it home to the little ones. Listened to a story yesterday that there are at least 3 different epidemics within California; Los Angeles, Sacramento, and San Francisco Bay Area. Not sure why San Diego was excluded, unless it was perhaps included within Los Angeles (since they are relatively close together). I'm sure that is replicated throughout the country. Plus there is now confirmation that the coronavirus in New York was traced to Europe, and (most of) the strains in California have been traced to Wuhan. I don't know what qualifies as a strain, or lineage versus a whole new virus, but there must be some dividing line. bp <part15sbs{at}gmail{dot}com> On 4/9/2020 12:17 PM, Robert wrote: They are telling us around here that we won't peak until mid May. IMHO it is the best way to visualize anything with exponential growth.
