But do you need light weight or small?  The aluminum side opening blocks are so 
versatile it makes sense to have some of them and they really don’t weigh that 
much.  I think these are the ones we have, or maybe another brand that looks

Rock Exotica though does have pulleys you can just stick in your pocket.

The one you linked to is a good rope.   I think we have the 3/8” as our main 
haul line.
