I feel like I've seen them, for putting like a trickle charger on a car battery. Small wire and big ring.

Mcmaster looks like they have a terminal for #18 wire with a 3/8" spade

I suppose I could work. Is there not a more elegant choice?

If I think I'm reading it right, you want a big spade for small
    size wire?

Could you just take a big spade and solder the small wire to it?

I have an ICT charger that limits me to small spades. These
spades only go as big as 16 gauge.

The battery terminals have bigger bolts and the hardware store
only has 10-12 gauge ring terminals that fit.

I only have a 2a load so gauge isn't a concern but I was thinking
    18awg.

Can anyone help with a suggestion or tips? Pics to show the size
    of what I'm talking about.
