Animal farmers,

A friendly reminder to fill out the WISPA part 90/CBRS waiver survey if you
haven’t already done so.

Also if someone could reply that this message made it to the list because
my original post didn’t get any replies so I’m not sure if y’all saw it or
not.

Thanks!

Subject: [WISPA Members] Short Survey to Support Extension of Time to
Transition to Part 96 CBRS Rules
To: memb...@wispa.org <memb...@wispa.org>

Hi Folks:

To those of you who have had the time to complete the survey, thank you
very much! We need to show the Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
that if it does not grant our blanket waiver, then hundreds of WISPs with
3650-3700 MHz licenses will need to file individual waivers. We are doing
great; but we are not quite there yet. As a friendly reminder, we are not
aware that any CBSD-CPE (Handshake) devices have been approved by the FCC.
If you have 3650-3700 equipment that expires in April 2020, and you will
need at least five (5) months to transition your equipment to Part 96 CBRS
rules, and you have not yet completed the short survey, can you please fill
out the survey by Monday, October 28?

Best,

96 CBRS Rules

Hi Folks:

Thank you for attending WISPAPALOOZA 2019. In October 2018, WISPA filed a
request for a blanket waiver that would extend the date to transition your
existing 3650-3700 MHz equipment from Part 90 to CBRS Part 96 rules from
April 17, 2020 to January 8, 2023. As I mentioned last week during my
panel discussions, the FCC still has not acted on our petition. We would
like to show the adverse impact that the lack of an extension will have on
a large number of WISPA’s members. Below you will find a link to a short
survey. I have also attached a QR Scan Code for the survey. Please take a
few minutes to answer the questions in this short survey by October 28. In
order to improve our chances for the blanket waiver at the FCC, we need
every WISP operator member to respond to this survey.

Thank you.
