If squirrels are not deterred by the outer layers of black walnuts, how bad can this cable taste?

We have repaired a number of the ADSS cables that the school district ran that have been chewed by squirrels. So far we have not seen any damage to the armored cables that we replaced them with. Commscope makes an ‘alternative jacket’ cable that apparently tastes bad. Can’t say I have tried it (either installing it or eating it): https://www.commscope.com/catalog/doc/pdf/7460/Alternate_Jacket_Fiber_Optic_Cable.pdf Mark On Jun 4, 2019, at 2:27 PM, Clint Wiley <[email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> > wrote: Had our first fiber cut yesterday. What are others doing to protect their fiber in spots like this?
