I thought I knew this but I guess not.
A non managed switch is just a switch.  A step up from a hub in that each port 
has exclusive ability to connect to any of the other ports without interfering 
with traffic on uninvolved ports.  

A managed switch can do VLANs and QOS and other fun things.  

Right?

But this morning I am running into an “unmanaged” switch that can do QOS and 
other things.  
Where is the dividing line between managed and unmanaged.
