They are very good, have used thousands of them in peds over the last 40 years.

I would not use them on stranded wires.
And I would not use solid wires on anything that moves.

Yeah, I saw a telco pedestal with dozens of those things inside.  If it's good 
enough for Frontier Telephone then it's good enough for.....hey wait I'm not
