I'm wondering how AdWords compute an average position of a keyword. For a Keyword I checked all 7 daily average position values. Normally I would sum them and divide through 7 to get the average position of a week, but I turns out that this is not correct. I get a value of 3,2 and AdWords displays a value of 3.
Does anyone know how this can be computed correctly? I checked twice my data and I got the correct daily keyword data. When I sum up other values like Clicks, Impressions and so on everything is right.
