I don't think this metric is available anymore through reporting, but by choosing the new "Slot" field you could average the CPC for rows that have a top value in the Slot field and that would get you an estimate of how much it typically costs to get the top slot. As stated on the blogspot post you referenced above, there are many things besides bid that determine who gets the top slot, so this metric is problematic.
This "Slot" field is listed in other report types as well, including the Ad performance report, but this link will bring you to the keyword field listing: http://code.google.com/apis/adwords/docs/appendix/reports.html#keywords -- =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ Also find us on our blog and discussion group: http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com http://groups.google.com/group/adwords-api =~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~=~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "AdWords API Forum" group.
