Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to the Google Ads API support team.

Please be informed that I have removed your response from the forums as it
contains the PII information.

Based on the information provided, I understand that you are encountering
CUSTOMER_ACQUISITION_MISSING_EXISTING_CUSTOMER_DEFINITION error while creating
campaign life cycle goals using the Google Ads API. This error message
indicates that to use the Customer Acquisition goal in a campaign, the
CustomerLifecycleGoal.lifecycle_goal_customer_definition_settings.existing_user_lists
field must include an active and accessible user list with more than 1,000
members in the Search or YouTube network. If your account’s conversion tracking
is managed by a manager account, only that manager's Customer Lifecycle Goal
will be applied. Additionally, ensure that the manager account shares audience
segments with sub-accounts through continuous audience sharing.

Upon reviewing your user lists in your Google Ads account (9437372372), I found
that none of the audience segments currently have at least 1,000 active members
in the YouTube or Search network. You can navigate and verify in your Google
Ads account under this path: Login to your Google Ads account > Tools > Shared
library > Audience Manager > Your data segments. Although you mentioned that
you were able to save the Customer Acquisition goal in the Google Ads UI, this
doesn't necessarily mean the goal has been fully applied. The interface still
displays a warning indicating that at least one audience segment must contain
1,000 active members in the YouTube or Search network. The message to 'define
your customer list' suggests that you need to add more members to your audience
segment IDs in order to use the Customer Acquisition goal effectively. You can
also see this warning under the 'Goals' section in the Google Ads UI. I would
recommend to ensure that one or more audience segments in your Google Ads
account have at least 1,000 active members before creating the campaign
lifecycle goals to avoid encountering this error.

Thanks,

Google Ads API Team
