Hi Bobby,

See
http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-java/source/browse/trunk/examples/v201003/AddKeywordsPerformanceReportDefinition.java
for a code example that adds a report definition, and
http://code.google.com/p/google-api-adwords-java/source/browse/trunk/examples/v201003/DownloadReport.java
for a code example that downloads a report. You should be able to
download deleted ads using an Ad performance report. Also check out
http://adwordsapi.blogspot.com/2010/07/discover-v201003-migrating-your-account.html,
which shows how v201003 reports can be used like v13 structure
reports.

Cheers,
Anash P. Oommen,
AdWords API Advisor.
