I actually tried this. I looked in the 7.1.3 install tree, but couldn't figure out where dsmlicense was hidden. When TSM used AIX native installp filesets it was easy to hunt down something.

It DOES exist on our existing TSM 6.4 systems. IBM support thinks we have a mixed 64bit(dsmserv)/32bit(dsmlicense) problem, but the file simply does not exist.
