Okay, what is the secret to setting up TSM to back up a NAS filer? We have a NAS (Isilon) but there is no tape library attached to it. The tape library is attached to the TSM server, which is a Windows server. I've followed all the instructions I could find but they seem to be geared to a NAS with a directly attached tape library.
I've done the following: Defined a device class Defined a storage pool Defined a domain Defined a policyset Defined a mgmtclass Assigned a default mgmtclass Defined a copygroup Activated the policyset Registered the node Defined a data mover I guess what I don't understand is defining paths and drives. I already have those set up in TSM for the library attached to the server. Whenever I try to do a backup I get errors: 2015-04-01, 11:43:12 ANR9024E There are no drives available.(SESSION: 46910, PROCESS: 342) 2015-04-01, 11:43:12 ANR1069E NAS Backup process 342 terminated - insufficient number of mount points available for removable media. (SESSION: 46910, PROCESS: 342) I'm using this guide: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/tividd/td/SMAIXN/GC32-0768-00/en_US/HTML/anragd62.htm Any help would be greatly appreciated.
