Hi all,
I have downloaded the TSM Server 6.3.1.000 installation file for AIX from site 'ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/storage/tivoli-storage-management/' to upgrade a level 6.3.0.0 test server. After having scp'ed the file to AIX and invoked by './6.3.1.000-TIV-TSMALL-AIX.bin', the extract begins but shows many messages like error: invalid compressed data to inflate error: invalid compressed data to inflate file #1186: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 757113400 file #1187: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 757660510 file #1188: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 758324212 file #1189: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 758913923 file #1190: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 759408992 file #1191: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 759902824 file #1192: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 760315810 file #1193: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 760736980 file #1194: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 761358120 file #1195: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 761997469 file #1196: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 762670566 file #1197: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 763250113 file #1198: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 763882438 file #1199: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 764524274 file #1200: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 765141777 file #1201: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 765771367 file #1202: bad zipfile offset (local header sig): 766368944 After the extract finished there is at least no 'install.bin' file existing, but I guess a lot of other files are missed as well. I tried the download and scp a couple of times but the extract was without success all the time. I even tried on different AIX servers. The byte count is the same at the ftp site, downloaded file to Win XP and the scp'ed file. Any idea what could cause the extract error? Thanks in advance, Rainer
