Mario, Not sure if this is related, but if you are doing a scripted install, I have seen problems (specifically at tdp 5.5.2.0) where the scripted install appears to work correctly, but these type of errors pop up when you try to run a backup. the cause is 3 prereqs that the scripted install does not check or install. If you run the install/upgrade manually, the prereqs will be displayed and you can choose to have them installed for you. After that everything will work. BTW, my SQLServer engineer swears that these prereqs are in place prior to my install, but for whatever reason the tdp install doesn't recognize them until it "installs" them itself. -steve
