Hi Del, This is all new to me, so please excuse my ignorance to this topic, but I believe they are CCR clustered pairs. We have also installed TSM for Copy Services, but I am going step by step in trying to configure this environment so that it works. The more I read into it and try to understand it the more questions I have and the more confused I am getting. We will be doing VSS backups and at this point I'm not sure which is better: Full or Copy backups. I got confused from the get go because it referenced a nodename in the dsm.opt file for the TDP for Exchange portion where as I am used to it being servername xxxxxxx for our other TDP for Domino set up. I guess I'm just trying to figure out how to configure each piece of software, ba/archive client, tdp for exchange and TSM for Copy Services, and I am not finding any examples in the books that show this relationship.

If you are using SCC (traditional, old-school MSCS clustering), my recommendation is to make the NODENAME contain the name of the virtual Exchange server. And in this file it says nodename, is that the name of the Exchange > instance? Or the TSM ba/archive client name? I have the following: > > Exchange Dev Mailbox Servers > > Cluster > 1 > Host Names HMEXMB01N1 HMEXMB01N2D > Windows Failover Cluster HMEXMB01CD HMEXMB01CD > Cluster Mailbox Service (CMS) HMEXMB01D HMEXMB01D > > I guess I'm more used to a Linux Domino instance where the dsm.opt file > has servername xxxxxxxxx and in this case it is nodename.
