Neither my SQL guy nor I have any idea what you are talking about. Can you please expand on what you are refering to when it comes to "stripes" and the database backup ? How do I control this ?
I have never set any kind or parm that addressed striping (at least not to my knowledge). How would we get around this to be able to restore the database(s) ? We are simply using the GUI and clicking on RESTORE ! How many stripes are you using for the restore? Data Protection for SQL opens a separate TSM Server session for each stripe.
