I haven't needed to use Atape for this within AIX 4.3.3. I use : mkdev -c library -t 'ADSM-SCSI-LB' -s 'scsi' -p 'scsi5' -w '6,0' to create the device /dev/lb0 There doesn't appear to be a specific 64-bit device support package or have I missed it somehow. > From: =?koi8-r?Q?=22?=Dmitri Pasyutin=?koi8-r?Q?=22=20?= <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > > 2003.12.02 10:45:39 ANR8840E Unable to open device lb0 with error 2. > > 2003.12.02 10:45:39 ANR8418E DEFINE PATH: An I/O error occurred while > > accessing library STKLIB. > > This is normal, since you need to specify "/dev/lb0" and not "lb0" in the= > "define path" command.
