Hi Zoltan
It's correct that you need either BRMS or Robot/SAVE. I would recommend
using Robot/Save if you have the option, as the performance differences
between BRMS and Robot/save is huge.
The information that there will be an native AS/400 TSM client is only a
rumour. So I wouldnt rely on that information.

Subject: AS/400 TSM client
We have an AS/400 system we would like to backup with TSM.
We read that the OS/400 we have is downlevel so we have ordered and
scheduled an upgrade of the OS.
However, now there is the issue of BRMS ! Is is absolutely required ?
When I read through some of the readme files, the only software
requirements is the OS/400 level ?
Any help in this area is greatly appreciated !
