The big clue (other than not seeing the message) that journal based backup is not happening is the large number of objects inspected.
Since jbb only backs up objects in the journal the number of objects inspected should be very close the number of objects actually backed up. Since I seriously doubt that 4,000,000+ objects changed on the file system being backed up, journal based backup probably wasn't used for one the reasons outlined in my append of a couple days ago. I encourage you to keep trying to get it to work as you will get a serious performance gain with a file system that large (assuming that amount of change activity is reasonable) ......
