My recommendation would be to setup the NT server and start sending all the
backups there. Pick a number of days after the cutover to just discard the
AIX machine and all the data. Dumb Management usually likes dumb answers
like this. Zlatko, I like DaMagement, guess that is the short form of DuMb
Management.

Export/import is the supported way.
Restore will not work but if you succeed many people on this list would be
interested to know. Third way is to setup the NT server from scratch and
delete all the data from AIX one. Maybe that exactly the damagement wants.

We are considering migrating TSM from AIX to NT. I know, I know why would
you want to do that. But that's what management wants. So what I'm looking
for is someone who has done this. What did you do? Did you export the
server, import on NT and then export all the nodes? Is there a faster way?
Can you restore the DB from AIX to NT?

If anyone's done this, I'd love to have the chance to ask some questions.

Thanks in advance.
