As an alternative to the SELECTIVE command, you could create a management class with a backup copygroup with MODE=ABSOLUTE. Then add an INCLUDE statement to your options file to assign files in the folder to the new management class, i.e.:
include c:\myfolder\...\* mgmt_full where "c:\myfolder" is the folder you need full backups for, and "mgmt_full" is the name of your new management class.
