Hi let me explain my problem and see if any of you mainframe 390 guru's Can help me.
We are currently running TSM 4.1.2.0 on a 390 mainframe running on a token ring network We currently back up on average 230 nodes per night amounting to approx. +60GB per night. We have found TSM very CPU intensive in relation to other applications, say DFDSS moving 2GB or FTP or HSM. I realise that backing up data comes at a cost but are any of you experiencing similar Problems with TSM and OS390 ?
