Yes, There is a script running but RMAN dos not seem to be able to handle the fact that some files were deleted on the TSM server side. Do you have an idea on how to get both in sinc' (V2.1 - so we cannot force this).
What we are going to do is let TDP backup to a new filespace and then delete the old /adsmorc. Is this a good way to bypass this problem? -----Original Message----- From: Rupp Thomas (Illwerke) [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 13 November 2001 13:39 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: AW: TDP for oracle and data growth. We are running ORACLE 8 and the backup is done via RMAN. The deletion of the "files" is done by RMAN as well. RMAN has a catalogue of backup files and this needs to be in sync with TSM. What you need is a script to delete backup files on the ORACLE side.
