In the urly days of our implementation I had to restore a fileserver of 150Gig. It was don's in 13hours. After a few months the performance has dropped to 5Gb/Hr, with files from a fileserver (exchange is getting 35-45GB/Hour. Microcode updates, change RAID parameters, and many other things (don by IBM), nothing seems to get the performance improved. I recently change the reclaim parameter to 51 percent and hope to get better results.

I am getting only 5Gb/Hr where as the spec says it is 10GB/Hr. When i went through the TSM Mailing List Archive some has suggested to change the tape microcode to 0CE1 from 0BN1. But i could not locate the file 0ce1.fmr in the site : ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/storage/358x I got 16E0.fmr in that site but i get error while updating the file through SCSI bus. Any one has any idea?. Regards O.Senthil NT Administrator Ph: 2540888 Ext :2164
