We can disable the recalim,migration process for restoration.
Then once again we can enable them.
In my case I have seen that if I do backup during reclaimation .Backup gets
higher priority.
It happened only once.

To add to the prior responses: The Admin Guide specifies what happens in
topic "Preemption of Client or Server Operations" (p.553 of the AIX
version).
