Do you know what version of NDMP is required for TSM v4.2?
The IP4700 supports NDMP version 2.

Tivoli announced that TSM version 4.2 should provide backup and
restore of
NAS filers - 3Q 2001. Tivoli Data Protection for NAS is a
specialized
client that interfaces with the Network Data Management Protocol
(NDMP). Full volume image backup/restore will be supported. File
level
support is announced for TSM version 5.1 - 1Q 2002.
