We are currently using Azure blob storage for Spectrum Protect Plus offloading and are looking to start using it for Cloud Tiering on Spectrum Protect but we want to use the soft delete function to give the cloud copy a measure of immutability.
Are there any pitfalls to enabling the soft delete feature? It looks to be transparent to the client so my hope is that SP/ SPP will not ‘notice’ that it’s on and continue to operate normally.
