There is a strong possibility we will be moving away from Spectrum Protect
and wanted to get a definitive answer on what happens when we don't pay the
license renewal fee (currently in a hybrid of Storage & PVU).

Any transition to a replacement system will likely take 6-months or more of
overlap (archives would need to be restored and moved to the new system)
and since our contracts run from July 1-June 30, we would not want to renew
our  Spectrum licenses in the year we start the transition (either 2022 or
2023 since we are also moving our datacenter by the end of 2023).
