Larry - Thanks for the final resolution.  I'll make note of that one.

It goes to show how little attention the Messages manual receives from
Tivoli, that so much customer hassle and Tivoli support time has to go
into figuring such things out, all preventable had the development
process resulted in the effects of new operands being properly
documented.  Sigh.
