Hi Richard:
The managment classes would be the same ( and I checked) since these are both members
of the same domain. The session happens in seconds, but here's the activity log
entries....not much:
10/11/00 12:50:04 ANR0406I Session 7978 started for node RSCWS (AIX) (Tcp/Ip
                      129.10.199.10(40421)).
10/11/00 12:50:09 ANR0406I Session 7979 started for node RSCWS (AIX) (Tcp/Ip
                      129.10.199.10(40423)).
10/11/00 12:50:10 ANR0403I Session 7979 ended for node RSCWS (AIX).
10/11/00 12:50:11 ANR0480W Session 7978 for node RSCWS (AIX) terminated -
connection with client severed.

>ANS1312E Server media mount not possible

Larry - Given that all drives are free at the time and that this happens
only with this SP node, I'd begin by comparing the output of a
'dsmc q mgm' from that node and a successful node and see if any
difference. The mount failure may reflect something awry in mgmt class
definitions such that there are no volumes of the defined devclass
available. Also check the server Activity Log for clues.
Also do repeated 'q ses' commands from the server as the session
progresses and see if any indications reflected there.
