Move Data from Bad Tapes

Hi all.

I've got the following Problem:

We have a StorageTek - Tape Robot and we have nearly 200 Tapes that ADSM uses,
that are damaged.
So i have to move the Data to other volumes. I would try this with the Command
Move Data, one for each tape.

My question is: is there a better way to move the data from a bad tape to
another? What must i do in CA-1 that the bad tapes are not used again?

Please help me, it's really important.
