Hi all, This was the email from my co-author I referenced during our IETF 122 session, regarding removing MQTT related text from the document, and adapting the title.
I was reminded the decision should be confirmed in the mailing list – so this is my official request for feedback/objections. I hope the chairs will watch this thread and evaluate consensus. Following this, we suggest renaming the document to either CoAP Publish-Subscribe Profile for Authentication and Authorization for Constrained Environments (ACE) or Key Management and End-to-End Message Protection for the Publish-Subscribe Architecture for the Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP) Using Authentication and Authorization for Constrained Environments (ACE) (aligning with the names of the two related drafts: draft-ietf-ace-key-groupcomm-oscore:Key Management for Group Object Security for Constrained RESTful Environments (Group OSCORE) Using Authentication and Authorization for Constrained Environments (ACE) and draft-ietf-core-coap-pubsub:A publish-subscribe architecture for the Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP)).
