Dear Ace, Our discussions with Marco and Francesca led us to consider removing the remaining MQTT-related text from this document (which has been substantially reduced in revisions). Currently, the MQTT specifications are not at the same detail level as the CoAP. We also do not expect a client to support both MQTT and CoAP.
Following this, we suggest renaming the document to either CoAP Publish-Subscribe Profile for Authentication and Authorization for Constrained Environments (ACE) or Key Management and End-to-End Message Protection for the Publish-Subscribe Architecture for the Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP) Using Authentication and Authorization for Constrained Environments (ACE) (aligning with the names of the two related drafts: draft-ietf-ace-key-groupcomm-oscore:Key Management for Group Object Security for Constrained RESTful Environments (Group OSCORE) Using Authentication and Authorization for Constrained Environments (ACE) and draft-ietf-core-coap-pubsub:A publish-subscribe architecture for the Constrained Application Protocol (CoAP)). Please let us know if you have any objections to removing MQTT. Could you also comment on renaming the draft?
