I suppose we could have custom "Atlantic" paper size: the width of A4 and the height of US Letter: 210mm x 11". That layout would fit on either size of physical paper. It would also slightly increase everyone's average page count.
I have a draft WiP paper together - I think I'd want to tweak the layout at bit if it's to be printed on A4.
