I wasn't very involved in the audio side of things, but as I recall there are separate controls for audio coming from/going to the cell chip vs. audio that the user deals with. We have the cell audio working so you can make a phone call and talk to someone. We haven't built a /dev/audio yet, though, so there are no "notification" sounds. John
