Thanks a lot to all of you who have responded, it is really a big help! Edmund, would you mind sharing your tweaks in /kernel/drv/scsi_vhci.conf? Being able to control the LEDs could be really useful - what do you use for doing that (I guess luxadm is not the choice any more :-)?)? It sounds like LSI 9205 is a good choice then. Is there any special firmware version(s) to hunt for and/or beware of?
