>From my perspective, I have no idea how you have configured the thing.
In general, if a virtual environment does not provide the LUNs to a guest
OS, then that is the place to start.  So far, I see nothing in this post that 
relates
to ZFS (or Nexenta).  Perhaps a picture will help?
